Paola Velez commemorates new cookbook to her heritage …
Paola Velez is an award-winning chef, entrepreneur, and community activist. She has been recognized as "Pastry Chef of the Year" by Esquire magazine, "Best New Chef" by Food & Wine, and was nominated for "Rising Star Chef of the Year" by the James Beard Foundation.
Paola has just released a new baking cookbook, “Bodega Bakes: Recipes for Sweets and Treats Inspired by My Corner Store,” a love letter to her Dominican heritage and NYC roots.
