The Mountain Fire burning in Ventura County continued a northward push overnight after destroying more than 100 homes and burning over 20,000 acres.

A 43-year-old schoolteacher in Los Angeles has been arrested and charged with the alleged sexual assault of a 13-year-old student in her class and investigators believe there may be additional victims.

With more than 20,000 acres scored in Ventura County, the Mountain Fire has also destroyed at least 132 structures and damaged another 88. As of Thursday night, it is only 5% contained.
