Crews are using a break in the Santa Ana winds to make headway on the devastating Mountain Fire, which has burned hundreds of homes and injured half a dozen people in Ventura County. Late Friday night, officials stated that fire activity “moderated” due to the decrease in wind speeds, which reached as high as 80 miles per hour in some locations this week and made the firefight incredibly challenging. A vehicle ended up on a residence's balcony after a wild crash in Chino early Tuesday morning. The woman who lives at the home where the car crashed said she thought it was an airplane. "We were up in bed sleeping and it sounded like a plane drove through our house," Andrea Kobzeff said. "It woke us up [and we found] there was a car parked on the second floor of our home.
