The Costa Mesa Police Department has released new details surrounding the grisly discovery of a woman's body inside a trash can on Tuesday. 

Neighbors told KTLA that the victim was found in a trash can in the backyard of a Costa Mesa home. The Costa Mesa Police Department confirmed those reports Wednesday morning and identified the victim as 38-year-old Julie Anne Sanetra of Irvine.
