UPDATE:

Mike Garofolo mistakenly reported Reagor visited the Rams, when he visited the Chargers. It was reported as such, but his visit to the Rams is not true.

...

The Los Angeles Chargers are signing wide receiver Jalen Reagor to the practice squad Monday. The hope is that he will be elevated to the active roster, according to Jordan Schultz.

The Los Angeles Rams reportedly hosted Reagor Monday, but he signed with the cross-town rival instead. Reagor was released from the New England Patriots practice squad on Sept. 18.

The receiver signed a one-year, $1.3 million extension with the Patriots in March.

Reagor was inactive for the Patriots for the first two games of the season. In 2023, he was activated by New England for 11 games. He posted seven catches for 138 yards as a backup wide receiver and kick returner.

Reagor played his best football on special teams for the Patriots. He returned seven kicks with an average of 31.6 yards per return in 2023. His highlight on special teams was a 98-yard touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in the final game of the season last year.

Reagor asked for a release from the Patriots, according to Yahoo Sports.
