Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker is a big football fan.

Jokes aside, Dicker recently linked up with Liverpool FC and revealed that he actually picked his jersey No. 11 as a way to honor Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

"I chose No.11 for the Chargers because of Mo Salah," Dicker said, according to Liverpoolfc.com.

Dicker explained how he came about his fandom, too: "My friend Tom, we grew up in Shanghai, China together. His dad and brother were United fans, and his mum and him were Liverpool fans, so I had to jump on with them."

As the writeup notes, Dicker just took an NFL offseason break to attend seven football matches in Europe over the course of 12 days.

To date, Dicker says he has now attended two games at Anfield Stadium, the first being a 2023 matchup with Real Madrid before this most recent visit.

If nothing else, it’s a cool bit of background and fun facts surrounding one of the NFL’s best current kickers:
