The Los Angeles Chargers signed Najee Harris in NFL free agency, but they still don't have a full stable of running backs. Behind Harris, they have Hassan Haskins, Kimani Vidal, and Jaret Patterson, which is why running back has been a popular choice for them in several mock drafts.
One name that has been linked to them at times is North Carolina's Omarion Hampton. With the draft rapidly approaching, it's become clear that Hampton isn't likely going to be an option at pick No. 22.

The North Carolina star has been rapidly climbing up draft boards, and Moe Moton suggests he could be a fit for the Denver Broncos at No. 20.
"The Broncos allowed Javonte Williams to walk in free agency, leaving Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime, Tyler Badie and Blake Watson at the position. Hampton has the skill set and the experience to lead a backfield committee." — Moton, Bleacher Report

If L.A. had any interest in Hampton, they would need to ensure their rivals don't get a chance to bring him in.
That said, they might not feel as though running back is a strong enough need to warrant such a move. If so, they'll just have to hope someone else keeps Hampton from landing in Denver. If not, he will be a problem for them for the next several years.
