Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers aren’t the only ones miffed by the controversial flags from referees late in the team’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7. 

Count Chargers legend Shawne Merriman among those not happy about the whole ordeal. 

By far the most controversial call of the night was officials throwing an unnecessary roughness penalty on Chargers rookie corner Cam Hart as he made a play on a ball thrown at Marvin Harrison Jr.

The flag extended the drive for the Cardinals and Arizona went on to kick the game-winning field goal. It was one of two majorly polarizing moments from officials, who defended the calls in a statement after the game

Merriman kept his thoughts on the subject short and sweet in a way most Chargers fans would probably agree:
