The new iPad Pros have OLED displays and the thinnest designs ever
If there’s one thing Apple is going to keep on doing, it’s innovating. The tech company just announced a lineup of new gadgets, including two new iPads and a new Apple Pencil Pro to go with them — and the features on these tools are incredibly impressive.
In addition to having some of the most advanced displays in the world, the new iPad Pro is the thinnest iPad ever made. And all the new iPads announced today are steps toward Apple’s commitment to reduce its impact — they’re all made out of recycled materials.

The new iPad Pro comes in two sizes: 11- and 13-inch. Both are the thinnest iPad Apple has ever made. Powered by Apple’s groundbreaking M4 chip, these machines are up to four times faster than iPads powered by M2. They also feature OLED technology and Ultra Retina XDR for the world’s most advanced displays, making them great for gaming, design, streaming and more. They have pro camera systems with 4K ProRes video, landscape front cameras, AI photo enhancement and four-speaker sound systems. And to top it all off, they’re made with recycled materials, reducing their impact on the plant. Preorder now to get yours May 15.
The new iPad Air comes in two sizes: 11- and 13-inch. It’s powered by Apple’s M2 chip, which is 50% faster than previous generations. Its ultra-wide front camera can take smart HDR photos and 4K video, making it perfect for video calls and FaceTime. And it’s made with recycled materials.
The Apple Pencil Pro is made to feel even more like using a real pencil, with new features for low latency and tilt sensitivity. It has haptic support, meaning it can sense when you squeeze it, allowing you to switch tools faster than ever. Another cool new feature is Apple Pencil Hover, which shows a virtual shadow of your tool so you can preview where your Apple Pencil will touch down on your display, giving you more precision than ever before.
