Travel experts Justin Walter and Kinga Philipps visited the Islands of Tahiti in a unique way. The two boarded a cargo-carrying cruise ship called Aranui. They say this was one of their favorite trips.
Some of the islands in French Polynesia can only be reached and resupplied by ship. The Aranui has been delivering cargo since the 1950’s. In the 1980’s, it started bringing passengers to explore islands that most people will never get to visit.
Walter and Philipps say the locals welcomed visitors and loved sharing their culture with them.
