“Scream Break” and the Flavors of the World food festival are returning to “The Thrill Capital of the World” in March, theme park officials announced Thursday.
“We are excited to kick off our 2024 event line-up with the return of two guest-favorite events this spring,” Six Flags Magic Mountain Interim Park President Jeff Harris said in a statement.
“Scream Break combines the party and fun of Spring Break with exhilarating and haunting entertainment. The team has also cooked up some amazing dishes for Flavors of the World, captivating the tasty thrills that food enthusiasts know and love.”
During “Scream Break,” a ticketed after-hours haunt event, guests can
- Explore two haunted mazes and three scare zones filled with ghouls and monsters.
- Enjoy unlimited ride access
- Enjoy unique food and drink offerings which include alcoholic beverages
- Dance the night away at two DJ dance party locations in the park.
Park guests, excluding season pass holders, must purchase a ticket to “Scream Break.” The weekends-only event will run for 8 nights from March 22 to April 13. The event will begin at 9 p.m. and conclude at midnight, a news release said. A pre-event haunted happy hour will start at 7:30 p.m.
Admission to the event is included with a Six Flags season pass or membership.
Single-night admission tickets to the event start at $39.99.
The Flavors of the World food festival will occur on Saturdays and Sundays from March 23 through May 5. Foodies can embark on a “culinary adventure around the globe” without boarding a plane.
The event features booths from Italy, India, Korea, China, Mexico, Greece and the Caribbean and will serve specialty foods, desserts and beverages from those locations. The full menu can be found on the theme park website.
Visitors can sample the food with a Sip and Savor Passport that’s good for eight or 12 food and drink-tasting portions.
