Additional areas in Disneyland will be temporarily unavailable this summer as construction crews continue to work on projects in New Orleans Square and Critter Country, the theme park resort announced Wednesday.

The two sections of the park have already been impacted by construction related to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the Haunted Mansion and Critter Country. Recently, more guests have visited the already high-traffic area to see the re-imagined version of “Fantasmic.”

Critter Country has been closed since May 1 as officials work to reimagine two retail shops in the area, but small sections of the land, like the Hungry Bear Restaurant, have still been accessible to the public.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • In New Orleans Square, the bridge connecting to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge will be temporarily closed beginning July 8. Guests can still access the land via an entrance in  Frontierland.
  • The Disneyland Railroad’s stop in New Orleans Square will also be unavailable for boarding and unloading due to construction at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and the Haunted Mansion. Guests who require an accessible entrance can use stations in Mickey’s Toontown and Tomorrowland.
  • Popcorn and churro carts in the area may be temporarily relocated.
  • Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country will close for kitchen refurbishments beginning on July 8.
  • Davey Crockett’s Explorer Canoes attraction will close beginning on July 8, along the Critter Country Fruit Cart.
  • The restrooms near Hungry Bear Restaurant will also be closed. The nearest restrooms to the area are located at Black Spire Outpost in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

News of the latest construction update comes amidst the revamp of Downtown Disney and the installation of new entry gates for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

A re-opening date for all impacted areas has yet to be announced.
