Disneyland guests can visit a galaxy far, far, away when the after-dark Star Wars Nite event returns to the “Happiest Place on Earth” beginning in April. The resort is also making it easier for guests to purchase tickets through the virtual queue with a new feature.

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite will occur on April 16, 18, 23, 25, and 30, and on May 2, 7, and 9. The ticketed event will include a Galactic dance party, a special cavalcade with Mickey and Minnie, themed food, character interactions, photo opportunities, a special Star Wars Nite Lightsaber Instructional and more.

The events will feature a three-hour pre-party at 6 p.m. each night. The event officially begins at 9 p.m.

Guests planning to purchase tickets can also utilize the new “Notify Me” option in the virtual queue.

“To participate, once in the queue, choose the ‘notify me’ option and enter your email address. You’ll receive an email letting you know it’s your turn to return to the waiting room in order to enter the ticket store site. From the time your turn begins, you’ll have ten minutes to use the link to return to the site,” the Disney Parks Blog said.

Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 20 for Inspire Magic Key members, on Feb. 21 and Feb.22 for other Magic Key holders and on Feb. 23 for the general public.

Tickets will go on sale no earlier than 9 a.m. each day on Disneyland’s website.
