A new type of vision test for kids checks for a potentially debilitating disease in seconds.

There is a new way for doctors to test kids for a common eye disorder – and all it takes is a smartphone app.

It’s called GoCheckKids and was developed by some very smart opthamologists. The app screens for Amblyopia by taking a photo of eyes and analyzing the red reflex it sees.

You can learn more about GoCheck Kids on their website. The app is only available to doctors. Talk to your healthcare provider to see if they participate.
