The northbound 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles was closed for about two hours and a SigAlert was issued after a single-vehicle crash killed a man around 80 years old Friday night, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
All northbound lanes were closed beginning at 6th Street, the CHP tweeted around 10:02 p.m. The lanes were reopened around 11:55 p.m., CHP tweeted.
A second person was transported to a hospital, CHP Officer Francisco Villalobos said. The extent of their injuries was unclear.
