Queen of England, meet Maleficent! Angelina has received physical proof from Queen Elizabeth II that she is an honorary dame.

“Ms. Angelina Jolie was received by The Queen today when HM presented her with the Insignia of an Honorary Damehood,” read a tweet from the British monarchy’s verified account.

The multi-hyphenate — actress-director-humanitarian — on Friday visited Buckingham Palace, where the 88-year-old monarch presented the Oscar winner with the ornate Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George in the 1844 Room of the palace.

The 39-year-old activist received the title, referred to as the female equivalent of an honorary knighthood, because of her work to end sexual violence and her services to Britain’s foreign policies. The U.N. special envoy also founded the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative in Britain two years ago.
