A woman was fatally struck by a Metro train between the Expo Line’s Culver City and Palms platforms, authorities said.

Officers responded to the call around 9 p.m. and found the woman dead, according to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Ramon Montenegro. She was struck at the intersection of Exposition Boulevard and Bagley Avenue.

L.A. Metro suspended the line’s service between the two stations as the investigation was being conducted. Buses were provided to accommodate for the closure.
