The Department of Fish and Wildlife were investigating an alleged coyote attack involving a 4-year-old girl in Hollywood.
The incident reportedly occurred Sunday morning in the Hollywood Dell area. The Department of Fish and Wildlife were notified the next day.
The child was knocked down, but was not bitten, according to a department spokesperson.
Wildlife officers came out twice to search the area, but were not able to locate the coyote, the spokesperson said.
