Police were searching Thursday for four men who jumped a 69-year-old woman and a stole her jewelry in a brazen afternoon attack in upscale Hancock Park.

The attack occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 30 as the woman got out of her car in an alley behind a series of shops on La Brea Avenue near 4th Street.

As the woman began walking toward the stores, surveillance video showed a black four-door BMW pulling up behind her.

Three men could be seen jumping out of the vehicle and surrounding the woman.

Video showed two of the men holding her down, while the third cut the woman’s Rolex watch and a gold bracelet off her wrist.

The woman was not seriously injured but did receive some cuts on her arm, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The attacker’s car was described as a mid-2000s black BMW 740IL with paper plates and tinted windows.

The men were described as white or Hispanic, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 220 pounds.

It was not known if the woman was targeted or was a victim of opportunity.
