Thousands of people took the the West Hollywood streets on Sunday to celebrate the city’s annual Pride Parade, and KTLA was on the scene.

According to KTLA’s Carlos Saucedo, the party was just getting started when the three-hour parade reached its conclusion.

“The sun is finally out, which is nice. People are going in and out of the bars,” he said. “Things are not wrapping up though, they’re just getting started.”

Kylie Minogue and Diplo + Friends were set to headline the OUTLOUD music festival at WeHo Pride on Sunday night, capping off the first weekend of celebrations. Other performers throughout the weekend included Janelle Monáe and Keke Palmer.

The parade itself had several guests out on floats throughout West Hollywood, including Lance Bass, members of the city council and even some appearances from Star Wars characters.

“It’s all about accepting,” Saucedo said. “Preaching that acceptance.”
