A multivehicle crash that triggered an hourslong closure of the westbound 210 Freeway in Duarte on Sunday left a 21-year-old woman dead, officials said.

The county coroner identified her as Jennifer Gainer Goldsbury.

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. and involved six vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol’s incident log.

One of the vehicles, a Ford Focus, slammed into a rail, the log said. It’s unclear how many people suffered injuries.

Authorities shut down all westbound lanes at Buena Vista Street following the incident. At 2:22 p.m., Caltrans said the lanes were reopened.
