INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Two teenagers, likely juveniles, snuck into the construction site of the new Los Angeles Clippers arena in the latest high-profile trespassing case in the L.A. area.

Video of their mischief was uploaded to TikTok earlier this week.

It shows the two boys hopping a wall and entering Intuit Dome where they shot baskets, deployed a fire extinguisher on a practice court and appeared to climb onto the roof and the rafters above the main court.

“This is private property. It’s a multi-billion-dollar construction site and so this is something that’s taken very seriously,” Inglewood Mayor James E. Butts told KTLA 5 News on Friday.

Butts said authorities believe they know the kids’ identities and will be contacting their parents soon.

“It’s unfortunate. They’re doing it as a thrill. But they’re putting their lives at risk,” Walter Zuniga, an Intuit Dome construction worker, said. “If you haven’t been trained … especially at night… not knowing what’s behind you, you could fall into a trench. It could even cost your life.”

This isn’t the first time this TikTok user, who has nearly 17,000 followers, has broken into a local venue.

SoFi Stadium and Dodger Stadium were featured in previous videos, along with the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival and a Kid Cudi concert.

The 17,700-seat Intuit Dome is scheduled to open later this year for the NBA’s 2024-25 season. In addition to Clippers home games, it will also host concerts and other events, including the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.

Another popular video posted by the same TikTok handle shows people climbing the Oceanwide Plaza skyscrapers in downtown L.A. that have drawn numerous graffiti artists and even BASE jumpers, resulting in multiple arrests.

In the case of Intuit Dome, the mayor said investigators believe they know the identities of the TikTokers. They plan to visit the teens’ parents and said the boys could face trespassing charges.
