Cameron Frazier, 21, was taken into custody about 9:30 a.m. by the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force outside his home in Vista, the Los Angeles Police Department announced.

Kristine Carman was visiting the region from Houston when she was killed Jan. 6 at the Villa Marina Marketplace shopping center in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Del Rey, at the edge of Marina del Rey.

Carman was found shot inside a vehicle and pronounced dead on scene.

The killing was the result of a failed robbery outside Jerry’s Deli, according to LAPD.

A memorial service was held for Carman, the second oldest of six siblings, on Monday, according to a GoFundMe page for her.

Frazier was set to be booked on an existing arrest warrant and held without bail. Police said he was expected to appear for arraignment at the Airport Courthouse on Wednesday.

Anyone with information on the shooting was asked to call LAPD West Bureau Homicide investigators at 213-382-9470.
