Mixed martial arts fans are getting excited for UFC’s return to Anaheim this weekend, but the event could come with complications for fighters.

According to SB Nation’s MMA Fighting site, the California State Athletic Commission will be conducting drug tests, and if THC is detected at a level above 150 nanograms per milliliter, that will constitute a failed test.

The news comes just weeks after the UFC removed cannabis from its banned substances list and is in effect in California, a state where adult recreational marijuana use is legal.

Despite the circumstances, fighters were encouraged to “discontinue use immediately” to avoid a failed test, according to a report in Marijuana Moment.

If a fighter does test positive, they will apparently be fined only $100.
