What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of summer in Southern California? Is it the sounds of waves crashing at the beach, the feeling of the sun’s warmth on your skin or perhaps that sharp, distinct smell of sunblock?
If it’s that third option, then there may be a new treat calling your name.
In a collaboration between Vacation and the Los Angeles-based luxury grocery chain Erewhon, a “Sunscreen Smoothie” is now available, just in time for summer.
Available in all 10 Erewhon locations throughout the month of June, the smoothie is meant to resemble the smell of a Vacation sunscreen, the brand says.
“Featuring a refreshing blend of coconut, banana, aloe vera, Tahitian vanilla, blue “pool water” spirulina, and a sprinkling of sea salt, one can expect the same “Leisure-Enhancing” experience as our Classic Lotion with every sip,” Vacation said on Instagram.
While Erewhon is known for its pricey smoothies that can cost upward of $20, the “Sunscreen Smoothie” costs a more modest $9 for non-members. Erewhon members can try their first one for free until June 14.
