A teen is dead and two others are injured after a house party in Riverside turned violent early Sunday morning, authorities said.

According to Officer Ryan Railsback with the Riverside Police Department, officers responded to a noise complaint in the 3400 block of Gay Way around 12:20 a.m. While the party was shutting down, the officers were told that two teens were stabbed.

The officers found the two victims and began lifesaving measures on one of them, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening wound, police said.

Officers were notified 25 minutes later that a third teen was taken to a hospital. It was determined that he may also have been involved in the stabbing and was detained by police.
