Police are searching for suspects wanted for stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from smoke shops in Tustin.

The thefts took place from late January to early February and happened within a span of 48 hours, according to the Tustin Police Department.

In the first theft, four male suspects shattered the glass front door of a smoke shop. Once inside, they used a saw to cut through a security screen, allowing them to access around $30,000 worth of nicotine products.

In the second theft, three male suspects entered a different smoke shop armed with handguns. The suspects held the clerk at gunpoint before escaping with around $5,200 worth of merchandise and the clerk’s personal property, police said.
