Long Beach police officers arrived at a home in the 1400 block of West 20th Street shortly after 10 p.m. Friday after an investigation into a residential burglary involving several stolen firearms led them to the location, said Lt. Dina Zapalski with the Long Beach Police Department.

Due to the nature of the weapons involved, SWAT officers were called to the scene and the surrounding homes were evacuated, Zapalski said.

Video showed an armored SWAT van and several patrol vehicles in the street in front of the home.

One man was taken into custody, however one or two others may have fled the scene when authorities arrived, said Lt. McGuire with the Police Department.

Numerous firearms and drugs were found inside the home, Zapalski said.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
