Police have identified the man who died by suicide after a pursuit and lengthy standoff on the 91 Freeway in Orange County on Friday.

Efrain Quezada, 40, was the man who was the subject of a pursuit that began in Corona during a domestic violence investigation, the Corona Police Department said in a news release.

The La Puente resident led officers onto the 91 Freeway before stopping near Lakeview Avenue.

After a four-hour standoff, police approached the vehicle to discover that Quezada had died by suicide.
