A big rig overturned after colliding with another vehicle in the Cajon Pass Monday morning, prompting a closure on the 15 Freeway.

The crash occurred on the southbound side of the freeway just north of Highway 138 at about midnight, according to the California Highway Patrol’s incident log.

The driver of the big rig was briefly trapped following the collision, according to the log. It was unclear if the driver was injured.

A SigAlert was issued for the closure of the southbound lanes at 12:20 a.m., according to the CHP.

One lane reopened to traffic just before 2 a.m.

Three other lanes were expected to remain closed until about 8 a.m. as crews worked to clean up a spill from the big rig.
