Three vehicles were involved in a crash in Arleta on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014.

The crash involved three vehicles, including a minivan that overturned just after 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Osborne Street and Beachy Avenue (map), according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Several people had to be rescued from the minivan after becoming trapped in the wreckage.

A total of four patients, including one minor, were taken to area hospitals in unknown condition, Humphrey said.

Following the crash, cars traveling westbound on Osborne Street were able to turn and go northbound on Beachy Avenue, otherwise the intersection was closed, aerial video from Sky 5 showed.

It was unclear what caused the crash.
