Deputies responded to Miller’s residence in the 26200 block of Avenida Calidad shortly after 1:30 a.m. after receiving an anonymous report of a disturbance, officials said in an Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s news release.

They arrived and heard the sound of a female screaming from inside the home.

Deputies entered the side yard, where they were confronted by Miller, who was aggressive and yelling, according to the release.

At that point, the MMA fighter and former host of the MTV show “Bully Beatdown” threw a ceramic tile at deputies before threatening them with a fire extinguisher and a metal pole, authorities said in the release.

He then ignored their numerous directives, according to the release. Deputies eventually deployed a Taser following an 8-minute-long struggle.

Miller was handcuffed and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, authorities said.

He was treated and evaluated at the scene by Orange County Fire Authority paramedics.

Based on preliminary evidence, sheriff’s officials said Miller was involved in an altercation with two females inside the residence. However, both females were not cooperating with the investigation, the release stated.

Miller was previously arrested at his Mission Viejo home last October after live-tweeting an hourslong standoff with the Sheriff’s Department.

In that incident, he was taken into custody on an arrest warrant, as well as obstructing and delaying a peace officer, sheriff’s officials said at the time.

Miller has been booked into Orange County Jail and was being held on $50,000 bail. His first court appearance in the case was scheduled for Monday.
