An investigation into the death of a man found with gunshot wounds caused multiple off-ramps on the 210 Freeway in Glendora to be closed for several hours Thursday morning, officials said.

A person reported seeing a body near the 210 Freeway and North Sunflower Avenue off-ramp around 3:34 a.m. , according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department news release.

The man, identified only as Hispanic, was pronounced dead at the scene.

He had gunshot wounds to his upper torso, the Sheriff’s Department stated. His cause of death was not yet determined.

A SigAlert was issued and the Sunflower Avenue off-ramp on the east and westbound sides of the freeway were closed until around 10:53 a.m., according to a Glendora Police Department news release.

Also early Thursday, a man’s body was found in lanes on the 101 Freeway in the Silver Lake area.
