Homicide detectives were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found dead Saturday afternoon in Carson on an off-ramp of the 110 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The man’s body was discovered on the Sepulveda Boulevard off-ramp of the northbound 110 shortly after 3 p.m., a news release from the Sheriff’s Department stated.

It was not immediately clear how he died, and investigators have not released any information related to the discovery of the body. The victim’s identity has also not been released.

Anyone with information about the incident was urged to call the Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
