As fears of low voter turnout in Los Angeles County rise, officials are attempting to ease the effort needed to vote in Tuesday’s primary election.

In a news release Tuesday, Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan said 644 vote centers were open in the county between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. A full map of centers could be found online.

In addition to the in-person voting centers, voters could turn in their ballots at the county’s 450 ballot boxes scattered throughout the county. Mail-in ballots are accepted until March 12.

Joining the Presidential primary on the California ballot includes the race for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the late Dianne Feinstein and Proposition 1, which addresses the state’s homelessness and mental health crisis.
