Hundreds of walkers gathered at the Santa Monica Pier Saturday morning to help raise awareness and funds for researchers studying breast cancer.
The walking event, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, was one of the American Cancer Society’s fundraisers being held throughout the nation during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
