A high-speed pursuit ended in a violent crash, leaving four suspects dead and two innocent people injured in the Inland Empire Friday morning.

The pursuit began shortly before 2 a.m. when a Rancho Cucamonga deputy attempted to pull over a DUI suspect, a spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to KTLA.

The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued until it collided with another car at North Mountain Avenue and West 16th Street in Upland.

The spokesperson confirmed that four males in the suspect vehicle died as a result of the crash.

Two people from the other vehicle were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Sky5 was over the scene at 6 a.m. where debris from a black vehicle and a white car involved in the violent crash was spread across the intersection.

The intersection and surrounding area were closed during the investigation.
