A hate crime was being investigated Friday in Valencia after two white men assaulted a black man and made racial slurs, a local Sheriff’s Department official said.
The assault occurred near The Alamo restaurant at 25946 McBean Pkwy (map) Thursday night, L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Dubin said.
After a verbal confrontation, two white men followed the black man, made racial slurs and hit him, Dubin said.
The men were described as white, 20 to 25 years old, bald and with multiple tattoos.
