A 46-year-old former day care worker pleaded no contest Monday to sexually molesting four children, three of whom attended a facility owned by his wife in Boyle Heights.

Enrique Ramos pleaded no contest to five counts of sexual molestation involving all four victims and admitted a special allegation that the molestations occurred while he was a day care worker, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Ramos admitted molesting two 5-year-old girls, a 5-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl in incidents that occurred between 2008 and 2013 when he was arrested, the release stated.

He was due to be sentenced on Nov. 17 at which time he faced 22 years in state prison, according to the DA’s Office.

Ramos was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
