Fontana police are investigating the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl who went missing on Wednesday.

Joeleen Lizama’s family discovered a note from the teen stating she wanted to hurt herself over recent personal issues after she went missing from their South Fontana home, police said.

San Bernardino Sheriff’s office are using a bloodhound to track the teen but she has not yet been found. She is known to frequent the hills near the Nature Center in South Fontana.

Lizama is described as a Hispanic female, 5-foot-6-inches tall, around 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen possibly wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt and black pants.
