Flowers might be a bit more pricey this Mother’s Day weekend, vendors in downtown Los Angeles say.
The flower industry says low supply is driving prices up, but demand remains high. They attribute the price increases to a myriad of pandemic-related issues, including less flowers planted last year amid uncertainty and a nationwide truck driver shortage.
