First Lady Michelle Obama had a busy schedule on Wednesday in Los Angeles as she wrapped up a 48-hour visit to the Southland.

The first lady was scheduled to give the keynote at a “Unite for Veterans” summit on Wednesday morning at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City.

The event was also scheduled to be attended by Lo s Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.

Later on Wednesday, Obama was expected to give the keynote at the Grammy Museum’s Jane Otner Education Award Luncheon at L.A. Live’s Club Nokia.

During her brief trip to the area, she also attended a $5,000 per person fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee that was held at an HBO executive’s home on Tuesday night.
