Firefighters were called to a blaze that burned through the roof of a two-story apartment building and left one person hospitalized in Tustin late Wednesday.

The fire was reported around 10:45 p.m. in the 14600 block of Del Amo Avenue, the Orange County Fire Authority posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Video showed firefighters on the roof of the building with flames flaring feet away as they worked to ventilate the structure.

The fire burned through the first and second floors of the one unit and an attic space but was extinguished in about 30 minutes.

One resident was hospitalized with what was described as a minor injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
