DWP crews on Saturday were nearly finished repairing the trunklines of a ruptured water main on Sunset Boulevard that spilled an estimated 20 million gallons of water and flooded the nearby UCLA campus in Westwood earlier in the week.

Once finished with repairs, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power would coordinate the next phase of the operation, which was expected to include backfilling, inspection and street repaving, a DWP news release stated.
