She was previously identified by the Sheriff’s Department as a person of interest and authorities were asking for the public’s help to locate her for questioning.

Zimmerman is suspected in the death of 46-year-old Louie Martin Cervantes, who was hit and killed by a vehicle during an alleged domestic dispute.

A week after Cervantes’ death, officials released images of the 2001 Ford F-350 believed to have been driven by the person of interest, identified only as “Erica,” a white woman in her 30s who was known to frequent the Lake Los Angeles area of Lancaster.

On Monday, the Sheriff’s Department released an image and description of Zimmerman, as well as an additional area she may be found.

Officials say Zimmerman is about 5 feet 3 inches and weighs about 140 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde hair.

In addition to the Lake L.A. area, she is also known to frequent the town of Rosamond in Kern County.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
