Los Angles police were asking for the public’s in finding Abdullah Abdullatif Alkadi, who hasn’t been since since Sept. 17, 2014.

Abdullah Abdullatif Alkadi, 23, was last seen Wednesday around noon at his residence in the 9900 block of Reseda Boulevard in Northridge (map), according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.

The full-time student’s family said they were “extremely concerned for his welfare,” the release stated.

An LAPD desk officer told KTLA the family was concerned for Alkadi’s welfare because it was not like him to go “off the grid” and not communicate with them.

According to police, Alkadi is of Middle Eastern descent, stands 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs roughly 110 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and beige shorts when last seen.

Anyone with information about Alkadi’s whereabouts was urged to contact Detective Carlton at LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit by calling 213-996-1800.  Callers were asked to dial 1-877-527-3247 during non-business hours or on weekends.
