LOS ANGELES – Crews battled a two-alarm fire at a strip mall in South Gate Friday morning, the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed.
Fire units arrived at the area of Firestone and Santa Fe Avenue at 6:50 a.m., the department said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Sky5 footage showed smoke emitting from a building on the strip mall around 8 a.m. LACFD described the site as a commercial building.
The fire was out by 9:46 a.m., the department said.
No injuries were reported, according to the department. There was no word on whether the building was destroyed.
