Chino police responded to a possible burglary Wednesday and arrested two suspects, one of which was believed to have burglarized more than 33 fast-food restaurants in San Bernardino County.

Police investigated an alarm that went off at Nick’s Pizzeria at 4125 Riverside Dr. (map) around 3 a.m., according to a City of Chino press release.

Two people with outstanding warrants were located in a green 1994 Ford Mustang near the pizzeria by the officers and a search of the vehicle and surrounding area led to the discovery of stolen items from multiple other burglaries.

Moreno Valley residents Damian Deans, 35, and 19-year-old Sierra Gregory were arrested and linked to burglaries at the pizzeria, Raspados Mexican Food at 4119 Riverside Dr. (map) and Chino Café at 3785 Riverside Dr. (map).

The thief or thieves smashed the fast-food restaurants windows, entered then removed cash from the register in multiple incidents, the press release stated.

Deans was arrested for burglary, conspiracy, a parole violation and outstanding warrants. Gregory was arrested for conspiracy and outstanding warrants.

Both were booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
