A car-to-car shooting on the 60 Freeway left one person injured on Saturday, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at about 12:45 a.m. on the eastbound 60 Freeway near the Rosemead Boulevard exit, according to the California Highway Patrol’s incident log.

Initially, CHP indicated that nobody inside the victim vehicle had been struck.

However, a supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department later stated that one man had been taken to a hospital.

His injuries were believed to have been minor.

Authorities were still searching for the shooter’s vehicle.
