While Sam Rubin was always extremely prepared for his TV segments, it was often the unscripted moments that provided the biggest laughs.
From editing his own first pitch at Dodger Stadium so it looked like a strike to falling out of a hammock on the KTLA 5 Morning News, Sam could put a hilarious twist on any situation and make himself the center of attention.
During his decades covering the Hollywood scene, Sam became one of the most respected entertainment reporters but “he loved when things went off-script, or didn’t go as planned,” Jessica Holmes said.
